There were close to one thousand people mainly Law Enforcement show up yesterday for the wake and funeral for Sonny. He was critically injured in an mva 10 years ago and forced to retire due to his injuries, but he never gave up and had the attitude that while he missed Police work he was allowed to live for a reason and was going to make the best of it. His attitude encouraged many of us over the ten years and when he was killed by a car who lost control and went up on the sidewalk he was walking on it left a huge void in our lives, but we know that he is in Heaven smiling down on us. He loved being a cop and so we gave him the best tribute we could a Police funeral and the LEOs did it well. They came from every Agency in the County including Federal, and even many other Counties. Rest in Peace Sonny, they LEOs down here have it from here.
