Sacramento County Deputies Face Illegal Weapons Charges

Since Federal charges, not state charges are ebing brought against these deputies, it looks like they were acting as 'straw purchasers', taking advantage of their LEO statis to buy and resell stuff CA citizens cannot buy themselves. They give LEO's another black eye for their actions IMO.

"Investigators said at least two weapons eventually reached criminals, though there is no evidence the deputies had that intent."

This is the basis for the complaint ? It looks rather thin to me ?
