Gloria Gaynor, a NJ Native, used to live by Prince Street Projects in Newark NJ. I never met her, but I remember her sister showing me pictures of her at her sisters dinner table, and couldn't believe it was the same woman living house to house with kids. She was friends with my kids grandmother whom I lived with for a stint. Gloria's sister was later killed by a drug dealer in Elizabeth NJ I believe, and it was then I realized why Gloria never took her in. Another Family friend was Linda Jones {your precious love}, who I think passed on at an early age but I forgot how.
Some are saying Donna Summer lived close to me in NYC, and believe her cancer was caused by breathing in toxins caused by 911. I'm going to research that to see if it's true.

Yes, I was there during the disco era. Donna Summer had a great voice and some great songs!!!
