Mich. cop shot 5 times tells off judge

In this case it is evident that the Liberal P.O.S. judge is cut from the same bolt of cloth the suspect is.He needs to be removed from the bench immediately.Where I come from judges are elected by the people ,NOT appointed.Rule of thumb is that a suspect is generally out after serving approximately one third of his/her term,due to "Good Time" etc.This piece of human waste will be out shortly and PROBABLY will shoot another officer.The judcial system in this land gets sicker by the second.

I'm so tired of hearing how a family member says the defendant is such a 'good boy'. He shot an LEO 5 times and this is the sentence he gets?? Outrageous!

Thank God my fellow brother is alive, but the JUDGE is a Jackass, I had a Judge once take me to the back to her chambers and scream at me because she felt i was talking during court but i got the last laugh. I waited for her to get off work i pulled her over and she recieved 5 tix. and i won in Traffice court. So to all my LEO dont think that Judges are the Law in the street we are. They need a wake up call.

Not knowing the political climate in this area, I would only add the following.
Years ago if you presented an R in your platform you were considered a CONSERVITIVE, and likewise a D usually denoted a LIBERAL lean.
However a friend of mine in the Texas House of Representatives says there are no more D’s & R’s, there is only C’s & L’s, CONSERVITIVE & LIBERAL leanings. The political landscape has changed due to the crossover career politician at all levels.
This is a prime example of that way of thinking. I recall reading an article about Charles Manson’s mother making the same claims during the trials her son was involved in.
A mother’s love should be cherished, however most mothers will always want to think of their off-spring as the way they wanted them to be and not how they really are.
This should be an example to all VOTERS, when making preparations to cast your vote, never be foolish enough to vote a straight ticket. Do the research and vote the C’s & L’s on both sides of the isle, however you may lean. This is for all levels of the political arena.
Hang in there Officer Matthews, you did a fine job surviving the situation.
Another note to the Voters and the Judge….There is never a small amount of victimization, victims will be victims for life. They never forget and neither should the Voters in that area.

A very piss poor decision by this judge. I am glad that the officer stood his ground and called out the judge. Kudos to the baliff for shutting the judges mouth. The good citizens deserve better than this judge and so do the victims that appear in his court.. The officer should sue the parents of this lowlife for failing to do their job as a parent in rearing this pimple on the posteria of society.

Oh boy, where to start. I am very proud of my Brother Officer Matthews first for his gallant fight for his life during the shooting when even though shot 5 times he was able to start shooting back and even taking cover when the suspect's friends opened fire on him AND he struck the suspect three times. (I hope they hurt and still do).

The Mother, He is innocent and a good boy!? Have you lost your mind? He is a repeat offender and this time tried to rob and kill a police officer! How is he innocent? Did the Officer just shoot himself and then shoot her son? YOU need to share a jail cell with him!

The suspect, Too bad the Officer didn't end your pitiful life right there or put you into a painful and permanent disability.

The Judge, How dare you, you Piece of garbage? Just because you were voted in as a Judge does not mean you have the right to go outside the scope of the guidelines. This was attempted murder of a Police Officer in the commission of a felony, (robbery) and a repeat offender. He knew Matthews was a LEO before he pulled the trigger and did so because Matthews was a LEO! He meant to kill Matthews. He deserves nothing less than life in prison without parole.

To the Bailiff's, THANK YOU BROTHERS! I am so proud of you for telling the Judge to shut up and listen to Matthews! So very proud of you!

Officer Matthews, you have the support of all of your brother Officers and we are so proud of you for standing up and taking that Judge to task for a disgustingly short sentence. You were correct and did what many other Officer only wish that they could do. I hope that this will lead to the removal of this idiot from his position of Judge forever.

To the ATF or Homeland Security, Charge this individual with removing the serial # from that .45 and go for the max sentence you can get. We would appreciate it.

Finally the people of this area, you are generally a conservative group so I hope that you either recall this Judge or make darn sure that he is removed in the next election and demand justice.
