Del City Officer charged in teenager's death

Bump Robo, sounds to me like the father of the suspect almost expected this to happen some day, either by police or someone else. I just do not understand how society will be so quick to defend a criminal that would kill or victimize any one of them for his own benefit and condemn an officer that would die defending any one of the people that bash his actions. If anything, I feel this officer went above and beyond if he fought this guy while the guy was armed. If he would have shot this guy as he exited the vehicle with a gun in hiis hand the shooting would have been justified. I agree that it needs to play out. No one can say how this officer felt or his perception at the time (after a fight too! ) besides the officer himself. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, my money is on not guilty.

Video from a representative of the Agency was available on the website where they say the suspect was armed with a handgun when the Officer made contact at the conclusion of the vehicle pursuit. According to the video, the suspect had the firearm in his hand and a physical altercation ensued.

While I understand you are referring to in general, this is in no way the time to go hands on. You have an armed suspect at the conclusion of a vehicle pursuit. As of yet I haven't found any specific details about the gun but let the investigation come out before people start second guessing the Officer.
