I see nothing wrong with being a conservative black men what I see wrong is when some of them open their mouths and talk down about their race black or white. May be I'm old fashion but if you are a politician unless you are running for that office you should not talk down about the President of the USA black or white. How can the US government get any respect from other nation when they are in house fighting all the time, I can understand disagreements but no one in either party wants to compromise. They are not conservatives they are idiots with a agenda that most are not buying into. A conservative black men is not a threat, most blacks are conservative liberals but those who think like him is a threat to all not just blacks. It's what comes out of their mouths that makes black people call them out. They call themselves conservatives but by what they say I don't see it.

I identify as Independent, but I'm certain some would go "HA!" at that. It's a great position to be in, though--both sides love us "swing" voters. I have never voted "party line" and I never will. I like to think about my choices not have others do it for me.

While we're being fair, why don't you acknowledge that you stretched the truth a bit when you called Ms. Rosen an "Obama staffer"? Also, you neglected to mention (though the article you linked does) that the actual Obama campaign universally condemned Ms. Rosen's remarks regarding Mrs. Romney.
To be honest, I never heard of Mr. Allen West before I read this article, so I hardly think he's much of a threat--more just a source of entertainment.

Conservative black male=biggest threat to liberal narrative=destruction of man's credibility (see Clarence Thomas, Allen West, Dr. Thomas Sowell, Condoleeza Rice, Alan Keyes, Herman Cain, JC Watts, etc. If they don't "go along to get along" they are labeled a multitude of names to include uncle tom, house negro, etc.......and those names don't come from the right.
