Racial incident mars high school game (They were chanting "USA, USA, USA"!)

USA all the way I don't understand where the problem was them chanting USA is not racist to me, I think all those who appall by the chant most have forgot that they was in the USA. These are kid having fun and they didn't say anything derogatory from what I read Robocop33 your right THIS HAS GOT TO STOP but is it. We are living in a country that has criminalize discipline and everything that comes out of our mouths have to be politically correct so not to offend no one Christians can not pray but we set a side praying time for mos'lem at schools and on the job. Everything that the US stood for is slowly being taken away. When it's going to stop, when we elect a person who place GODLINESS back where it belong with the people. GOD BLESS the PEOPLE of the USA.

It cannot be racist as the USA consists of every race and ethnicity that exists! Additionally you then have to believe that this also means that these kids believe in racial superiority through genetics. I would love to know how many Black kids as well as Native Americans or Brown kids are on the team or in the stands and in the school. Chanting the name of a nation that is so multi-cultural is in no way racist. The school should not have apologized and that they did is rather shameful. Schools in areas anywhere close to the border or that have Mexicans in the school are allowed to celebrate Cinco De Maya and also fly the Mexican flag ABOVE the United State Flag and anyone who wears a shirt that has a flag or anything the shows pride in the USA are told to remove it or go home. THIS HAS GOT TO STOP! This is the USA and all people are welcome as long as they play by our laws, contribute to the nation, and who can assimilate into our society and learn to speak English.

Just exactly what race is "USA"? If one of the enlightened administrators in the SAISD can explain that to me, I"d be grateful.

what a waste of time by politicians and other school faculty to waste time and make students look racist by trying to be all polictially correct since when is it against the law to be chanting usa....if thats the case mitt romney better watch out his supporters were chanting it yesterday at their rally thing on tv....

Sounds like the district needs to remember the surge of patriotism after 9/11. And that the officials need to be told not to get their knickers in a knot over a patriotic chant. The kids are proud of their school and their Country. What's wrong with that?

Lets all focus on patriotism all on 1 team as Americans if you live in this country the USA !!

Last time I checked we were in the USA and for them to chant that, on USA soil is no problem by me. If these jerkoffs dont like it tell them to go home were they dont have any freedoms.
