Former cop discusses experience after serving time for K-9 bite

You'll notice, too, the man was an illegal alien?? Maybe that's why he was running cuz he didn't want to get caught? She did the right thing. She did what a handler and his/her K9 are trained to do. I hope a better life is ahead of her.

This happened in a bordering jurisdiction to me and I have met her. This is BS all the way around. I have a lot of friends on PGPD and the feds were headhunting at the time. I know a lot of BS that happened in that county and it is a war zone. This county has a lot of problems and it is not the officers just trying to survive their shift with no support from their community, their corrupt co govt or their higher ups. The perps have all the rights in this county and this fine OFFICER (which is what she is and always will be to me and many of my friends) was railroaded to quiet the masses and show that they would convict a cop. There was a lot of pressure from the community and the govt did not want the feds looking deeper than the cops!! A vast majority of the officers in the Prince Georges County Police are a great bunch and I am honored to call a lot of them my friends. This entire situation stunk from the word go and still stinks now. She lost her career and her time with her son because the garbage that inhabits PG Co. (not all but a lot of the residents) would not be happy until a officer was sent up the road. I still avoid that county like the plague and I only live 2 miles from the border.

This is very sad and ridiculous, she should of never been charged with this.

Sounds to me like she got railroaded and hung out to dry for simply doing her job.

Let me tell you this story turns my stomach. I work very close with the FEDS and lets me tell you they are the biggest MOB of them all. They need to be looked at. The prosecuter has no idea what is a crime and what isnot. There was no Crime committed in the officers part just the mutt that was illegal in OUR country.. I hope she stays STRONG and in my ryrs she will always be a LEO...
