Let it all come out in court. If he did do these things then to Hades with him and hiope he goes to jail. If he has been falsely accused and hung out to dry then shame of the Department. They really need to bring back the Psyco tests before they hire people. If they are performing them then they need a new Dr. to do the evaluations.
wether they are true or not to put himself in the situations described here is simply rediculous.
BTW a compaint was filed IA looked at it said there is alot more here than a discipline case forwarded it to the state prosecutor who looked at it and said there was criminal violations here. A Commonwealth magistrate looked at it and said there was probable cause to belive this happened so it is not like someone just walked into the papaers and said a officer did "X" to me and ran with it.
As a victim of a false and malicous complaint I am the first to stand up for a officer's rights but when something like this happens and comes from multiple complaints at diffrent times and multiple entities have looked it over it is not good.
Just like any other profession some people are not fit to serve but it's hard to weed them out once they pass the test but it makes the department that they serving in looks bad when some officers get caught doing stupid things like this but what makes it worse is the other officers that know of other officers who are breaking the law themselves and keep their mouths shut about it. Yes it's a small percentage that's doing these sort of crimes but it makes all officers look bad in the eye of the public because the media broadcast more of the bad then the good that officers are doing. If all this is true about what he did then he should be locked up not let go under house arrest. You can screen a person and investigate their background but most people will not commit a crime until they are in a position where they think they can get away with it.
will support my LEO's for bad or worse because the last time I checked they were humane. However, There's a point where I say to myself " will I support a man being accused of official oppression, indecent assault, coercion and other crimes stemming from four incidents? IF FOUND GUILTY, that answer would be NO. If Guilty, he butchered the publics trust, and put his honorable brothers in an undeserved bad light..
Retleo, I know the tiny fraction of a percentage of this kind of offense feels like a black eye or a rising gut feeling to tear someone's head off - especially if you are a woman. From a civilian's perspective though, I urge every civilian to step clear of the "uh huh told ya so" trap and realize how rare this is among ALL society's trusted positions. Let's keep in mind the enormous percentage of sworn officers who protect and serve - unsullied and true to their oath - day and night - in every corner of this great nation.
Doesn't look good. Let's see how this case proceeds.
Your conclusions are logical Ms. Mary and I have always found your logic to be right on the button.I too have noticed that this specific weird conduct to be quite pronounced in the mountainous regions of Eastern Pa. and the Ozark region of Mo., and Arkansas. It stems not only from a personality defect but the lack of teaching a young man ,in his formative years, the respect women deserve and should be shown.
You are right ajsdaddyCCSO, we don't know if the charges are true. I have tried to keep that in mind and raise questions about other allegations relating to alleged complaints about police and made assumptions on this one. I guess I was thinking that there are multiple allegations, people don't know one another, etc. But, you are right.
As to cases in one area of the country, I cuold be wrong, and the cases are not necessarily related to police either, but there are allegations lof sexual misconduct daily-- locally and state wide. Maybe they were there all along and not reported? .Maybe I am just now paying attention. Jut disregard that comemnt; it was an observation.
If these charges are true I frequently wonder how people slip through the cracks of allegedly intense written and oral psych exams and interviews??THey were given back in my day.Do cities NOT perform these anymore?I see this has been a four year ongoing investigation.Hope he was assigned inside someplace, preferably by himself.
