The death penalty is the ultimate act of state power, and anyone who murders a law enforcement officer, correction officer, or first responder should be put to death!
Bump Robocop33, If a states legislature prescribes capital punishment for murder why shouldn't the American public be allowed to see it? It might increase deterrence and save lives.

Yeah, what are they going to do to him, put him in jail? They need to take him out into the prison yard a televise his execution live to every inmate in that prison who is to be locked down in his cell for a week after his execution as punishment for this garbage's crime. It should be executed by the electric chair ONLY and make sure that the power is slowly turned up and left at top voltage until he starts to smoke from every orifice. Maybe, just maybe that will put the fear of God into them enough so that they NEVER even consider doing that again.

Now none of this is legal and I do not really agree with torture when executing anyone but darn it, there has to be a way to scare them enough to never do this again. Our men and women are being slaughtered by these bad and morally vacant people.
