No--unicorns do not need to be explained. Nor do fairies, gnomes, leprechauns, talking horses, etcetera. By the same token, not every rumor about the object of your derision needs to be explained. Take a deep breath, hold it for a moment, let it out, and accept the reality no matter how distasteful it is to you.

And almost four years later, we start the c@rap all over again! We suck if this was missed the first time! I doubt it, just sour grapes! Just let it go and do your best in November!
I had to proove my age to be a police officer with a longform birth certificate and drivers license and my social security card! and my parents were interviewed as well as several other family members!
The INDONESIAN PASSPORT ISSUE STILL NEED EXPLAINED as well as His social security number does not match Hawaii
His aunt violated our immigration laws and was allowed to stay be cause she might be a target!! now his uncle has violated the immigration law and has a DUI pending!
Seems as if there is some reasonable suspicion here of some wrong doing!
I disagree. There's nothing served by reducing the number of possible participants in the discussion. There is more "foot traffic" in the News section.
I agree with ajsdaddy that we need a forum that is public and open to all for POLITICS and that should be restricted to published News articles to back up any stated opinions.
Again, this should be a PUBLIC forum and not a group. I will ask the Powers to be to see if this is possible.
I believe there is a forum for this type of debate (see "Politics"). Continuously posting articles in this area is inviting scorn, ridicule, and the posting of an opposing point of view which you will never be able to change. There is no reason why this type of discussion needs to pit members of this website to debate one another in the open thereby causing discontent. The Politics forum was created, and made private, so that members of that forum could go in there and beat their collective heads up against the wall. Continuously posting positive or negative articles in an open forum demonstrates an agenda of baiting, no need for that. As the election draws closer we WILL see a divide amongst adults, there is no avoiding it. You should take this discussion to the proper forum and stop posting opinion as "news".
No, Lonna, I don't think Robo meant it in a general sense...I believe he meant some so-called unbiased "expert" testimony has been made to the effect. It's really, really, really...really...and I mean really....(no, REALLY!) not worth responding to.

I'm guessing what Robo meant is that, a Picture of something circuling around the www has a tenancy to get photo-shopped, and can not be taken into account. The time it took seems suspicious...ect...ect..
However, I don't think anyone doctoring Obama's original BC would use something lame as Photo Shop.
I Can Picture Obama saying: Dammit, find that &^%*$@! thing, they got Donald Trump on my....!
P.S. It's not that I didn't read your "photoshop" allegations, it's just that I don't think they're worth acknowledging. I mean no disrespect, but I am not going to waste my time rebutting something so improbable.
He was under no obligation to produce anything, but he produced the "short-form" certification (which is sufficiently legal in Hawaii) that the State of Hawaii sent him years ago, but that wasn't good enough for the conspiracy theorists...and back in April '11 he produced copies of the long form original (after petitioning the State of Hawaii to make a procedural exception for him, which they were under no obligation to do)...and now you say he brought it on himself by not immediately ceding to the demands of a few wackjobs with an ax to grind.
MZ66 I do not believe he should be required to do any more than anyone else BUT, I do believe that he should be, as every one in the Presidential elections should be properly investigated to prove his is a natural born citizen etc. Obama has brought much of this up because of his own responses and actions. He should have immediately released his BC and his Collage transcripts when asked as there were some legitimate questions there. Something is wrong but I do not know what. I am not a birth er but my sense of concern did grow when he released this BC as it has been photo shopped and has been discounted by so many experts who are honest and also as we say, "don't have a dog in the fight" which concerns me as does his SSAN and the fact that he is hiding his school records. What is there that he is worried about? All potential Presidents should have to reveal this information. I do not believe that any potential candidate should have to reveal everything as there as some things that should remain private but not place of birth or time, name, place of birth, etc, as well as schooling and the like. I have to believe that Obama IS in fact a US Citizen because I think Clinton and his/her minions would have torn him a new one. There is however something that he is hiding and I want to know what and why.
Obama's lawyer said that the facts on these issues have already been promulgated. That is why Obama sent no legal counsel to the trial to represent him.
The other fact to consider here is if there was anything to these charges, why wouldn't the republicans be jumping all over this? There is more of a divided between the Republicans and Democrats in the past several years than ever. Compromise is very difficult to achieve because of this. If the republicans truly felt that there was a major piece of "dirt" to bring forward about Obama, what possible reason would prevent them from doing that if it were true? Conspiracy theorists of the most extreme kind, might be able to imagine heaven knows what explanation for republicans not speaking up. For the rest of us, think about it. This doesn't make sense. Serious republicans won't raise this issues because they would look foolish.
