NYC Police Throw Navy SEAL Into Psych Ward for Claiming…He’s a SEAL

What a stupid thing to do! This Hero was simply trying to explain that his status as a Naval SEAL could suffer and that of all people the Police would be glad to have a highly trained and armed trustworthy person out there and that an arrest may pose some difficulty for him. NYPD really is anal about gun laws. Additionally I highly doubt that they 'threw' him in the psych ward. He cooperated as best he could. It's too bad these Officers did not see fit to use 'discretion', issue him a ticket for the traffic offense at most and let him go on his way back to his station, probably Little Creek, Va.
I hope this Hero gets off with a literal hand slap.

A seal of all people should know that law in every state in the united states.
