Powerball winners donate $1M for veterans

An outstanding use of some of their winnings. I read an article about this earlier today, and the three men are money managers, or soemthing like that, and are going to invest the money. They said they will donate more in the future. Just outstanding.

I am sorry everyone, leave it to me to find a negative in this. I think the donation is a fantastic thing and shows the true American Spirit that still lives in the people of thiss great country!!! What really pisses me off is the short news artical, gee media, do you think you could squeeze a small piece of your news paper to print one of the most outstanding things doone recently? I know......with all the real news like interviewing the protestors living in tents and being abused by the police is still major news after over two months. THIS IS REAL NEWS AND DESERVES A PRIME TIME SLOT AND NATIONAL FRONT PAGES!!!! but that does not sell. people doing good. The media has the power to give hope to Americans but instead dwells on the negative. I firmly believe that if the media started covering positive stories, with the enthusiasm that they cover the negative and slacked off on the junk stories, you would see a positive change in this country. sorry about the rant but just felt the need to speak up.

There are still patriotic Americans out there. Gob bless them.
