I would like my eggs over-medium with a toasted English Muffin and a side of autocracy.
A Server or Waitressing position more often then not is non unionized, her word against theirs-hence no law suit sticks. If she had a group of regulars that liked her, The company/Restaurant Owners may suffer little recourse, and maybe some bad press in some cases. Following Uniformed guidelines is best, Job comes first and there's always FB and other social networks to give personal opinions and views.
I am not sure what the real truth is here as it would seem to be much easier for them to just tell her not to wear the bracelet to work than to fire her for it. They are using the excuse that she is a poor waitress so who really knows. I do know that Chicago is a very solid Democratic city and home of the President so.....? Anyway, I doubt she could prove it.
Political correctness will be the downfall of this country.
They always say that there was some other reason for the firing, I hope she can prove it and is able tofile a law suit against the company. As for the people who complained. They have a right to their opinion and so do I. They are jerks.
What a crock. I hope she files a huge law suit. AND WINS!!!!!
