Lauderhill officer charged after shooting at fellow cop

Glad that the female officer is OK. Sounds like this clown slipped through the psych evaluation.

I read about this in this mornings paper. Horrible Situtation, I am glad she had her vest on at the time.

Unfortunately, I have a feeling this guy would have done this whether she was a LEO from the same Agency, another Agency or non LEO. This guy has mental issues and it appears does not like it when someone says they no longer want to be with him. Sometimes it has nothing to do with the occupation but mH issues as well as control issues. I am glad he missed her and an Officer was able to talk him down. It could have turned out much worse.

LE is getting dangerous down here in South Florida lately, however not from the perps committing the crimes, but from our fellow LEO's. Maybe we need a Presidential Sit-Down and we all have a few beers and talk out our differences...
