Neither tropper nor officer handled this one well....had it been me, I would have remembered the brotherhood...But..Oh Wait!! That doesn't exist anymore.
He was wrong, no doubt about it, but for her to treat him like a dirtbag is inexcusable! He is a sworn officer and deserves to be treated with the same respect the we are all entitled to! She was completely discourteous to him without cause.
Wow she was really doing her job look it doesn't matter who it is that's breaking the law if she would've let him go that wouldn't be fair so good job officer
The actions of the Miami officer are not defendable, he was clearly in the wrong and deserves the ticket. The trooper is not without blame, she could have done a better job in handling the situation without cuffing a uniformed officer. We all work the same job and need to get along and work together. The head of the FOP is clearly in the wrong with the letter/email he wrote. At the very least, the Miami officer needs to take the ticket and fine and be suspended for a period of time for endangering the public with this stupid stunt.
MDPD Needs to look at reality. This idiot brought it on himself and deserves everything they throw at him. He was wrong and endangered his life and the lives of others, including the FHP driving like he was. I feel no remorse for him. I do not like the way the FHP Trooper talked to him and cuffed him but understand her emotions and anger after finding out it was an actual cop behind the wheel of that cruiser.

I Florida State trooper stops a City Of Miami officer in his patrol car and in uniform for speeding. She pulls him out of his car at gunpoint!
