Still a hero! It's so wrong to not be able to fly our flag anywhere we want. They need to amend their policies or maybe people should not give them their business!
Have I not ranted about these Homeowner associations and landlords enough lately? I see nothing wrong with honoring our military on their special day, especially when it is done by veterans!
I too am a Naval Veteran who served 7 yrs from 68-75 and Vietnam Vet. Seems like we never received a homecoming reception other than extreme contempt and we still cannot express our love or our nation. I had hoped it was getting better with the new group of Vets we have as a group we being honored fairly well. Guess it was not to be when they get down to their hatred of this maybe being over. I guess hatred of our wonderful military still exists.
They need a nice big protest in front of this complex....
Unacceptable. As a vet, he has earned the right to be proud. However, ALL citizens should be proud of our flag. We slip further into the abyss every day.
Out of control!!!! Home-owner's associations, CEO's, Office managers, landlords all need to learn a lesson from these veterans!!!! Curious what they are referring to by "Common Area". Maybe Zivica should circulate a petition to see how many of the residents are in favor of it.
I think that this McDonald guy is an idiot. I hope that the citizens of that community raise holly hell about this. And that the VFW and American Legion get involved.
FLY YOUR FLAG, PROUDLY THIS IS THE USA, VET'S DAY NEXT WEEK, LOOK ME UP IF YOU NEED A PLACE TO STAY.... SEMPER FI.
We had a similar incident in Northeast Ohio with a homeowners association! They wised up and gave up the fight after the VFW came and did a flag ceremony in his front yard! This is the United States of America! Thanks for this Veterans Service!!
I would continue to fly the flag of our country. This McDonald yahoo needs to get his head out of his backside. Their rules are just plain BS.
