Excellent work by the sergeant; he saved his own life and those of his partner and, most likely, the cab driver. Now if only the court system will do it's part and finally put this would-be cop killer where he needs to be, permanently !!!!!

Mike was my partner in the 67 for several years and we worked together again as Sergeants. He is one of the best cops in New York City. I'm very proud of him.

Good job Sarge! We can only hope that the courts will send this waste of air away for good this time instead of letting him out to walk the streets again and either kill someone else or try and kill another LEO. Too bad deadly force was not used on this WoA, (Waste of Air) so we could make sure he does not kill again.
