    Same as whats going on in California. The jobs are highly paid.. so thee cops have no way to continue their standard of living.. pay for house- car- boat- kids in school— pretty much all downhill.

    Good luck to them, this is exactly the same situation in PA in the late 70's when officers were laid off in droves. I wish them the best but it doesn't look good. I am sure things like htis hvae run thru the mind of the governor when he decided to not run for the repub nomination knowing this would be a hot topic of his critics.
