How stupid. When my son was about 2 years old, at the dinner table one night, he picked up a pork chop bone and used it like a gun. Up to that point, we had not done anything to either "glorify" guns or shield him from them. Yet, he still picked up that pork chop bone and went, "bang bang." The answer isn't removing these toys. It is in education about the realities of guns and violence. Stop letting your young kids play violent video games and watching movies that are way above their rating level. Next thing you know, they will have a baseball bat turn in, to keep kids from smashing mailboxes, windshields and other peoples knees.
