Nine Teens Arrested In Beating Of Gay Man

SPRINGFIELD — Nine people, ages 12 to 19, are facing hate crime charges in connection with the beating of an openly gay man in Springfield.
Sgt. John Delaney said the beating occurred shortly after 3 a.m. Tuesday as the 30-year-old victim walked down a Springfield street.
Delaney said the victim told police he was then attacked by the suspects who knocked him to the ground, kicked him in the head and abdomen and punched him in the face with closed fists.
He said the females in the group encouraged the males to beat up the victim and others yelled disparaging remarks about the victim’s sexual orientation during the attack.
Nineteen-old year Shay Andre Edwards and eight juveniles were charged with unarmed robbery and civil rights violation with injury. It was unclear if any had attorneys.

Actually 184retired, we had it pretty much under control and it was dissapating until you know who was elected and suddenly everything was under the eye of being PC or racial. Suddenly you had to LIKE it and not just accept it.

know some gay guys that will revert back into boxing mode if they need too, but I'm not afraid to say there are somethings in life I don't fully Comprehend. To each his own. I've seen the after math of people being jumped and outnumbered, Not Pretty. I think about My grandfather, how he took up boxing, and how we were taught to "DEFEND" ourselves if needed. He instilled the belief " If a man can't fight a man Fairly, he's a coward". With that said, it's questionable which of males are really Soft, and as for the girls, Jealousy ?

tremor2, i think i might love you for your remarks. i mean bump.
i live in a town that is 43% gay. recently two gay men were beaten by a female and male, while their 4 year old son watched. one of the gay men had his teeth knocked out and his jaw broken. both went to the hospital. thankfully there were video cameras, and the couple were caught, and charged with a hate crime.
