Officer fired for responding to Officer down

So he does his job and gets fired? What the hell?

The powers to be at Rice have their heads well planted in their backsides. The officer did the right thing in coming to the aid of a fallen officer, he should hold his head up high. I would suggest that he hire a good lawyer and go after them for wrongfull termination.

The officer was on someones "to do" list and then came the opportunity to fire him. Let's see what public opinion can do..........

What I get out of this is that Rice U is close just two minutes and Rice U Police Officer is there. Isn't that what Police Officers should do support each other especially if they are in the same area. There have to be more to this story that's being let out to the media. Great job Officer from Rice U, Rice U sucks.
