That 15 yr old is obviously a positive reflection on the way she was brought up. Her father can rest peacefully knowing he did a helluva job raising her. Reminds me of a story that happened to me. Several years back I was in a pizzaria/restaurant having a pie with my family. I was wearing a buffy NYPD ESU T-shirt. A woman at the table next to us kept staring at my shirt. After a few eminutes she asked if I was an ESU member. I said yes and she told me her brother was an NYPD officer who was killled on 9-11. I asked his name and it so happened that I supervised the recovery of her brothers body. I told her this and she and her family members then asked a few more questions then we were all left with our own thoughts. They left before us and we said our goodbyes and I got some thank yous from them. Later when I went to pay my bill I found out they had already paid it. This young girls story brought a tear to my eye for many reasons,,,,

After being at Police Week and meeting some of the survivors this doesn't surprise me. They were more concerned about others than themselves.

Ms. Nava your father's sacrifice is not forgotten. Your actions just prove what kind of young lady you are. You are your father's legacy and a better legacy he couldn't ask for. Thank you for caring.
