I have an idea, how about taking all the money and man hours put into this making and enforcing this new law and put those resources into making sure the meat is safe before it gets to the grill so we can enjoy it however we want.
Would think that there would be more important things to worry about in NC. I understand the logic. Was there that much of a problem with bacteria and tainted ground beef before to warrant this?
I would have to disagree with the stance that the state has taken. How a person likes their burger should be a personal choice, not a state mandated direction.
While I disagree with the burger Police thing. I can understand how ground beef has a much larger chance of being contaminated. Best to grind the meat yourself and have your burgers your way at home.
Say it ain't so!! I'm sure glad I don't live in NC
The burger police? Has it come to Tasing violators of the burger ban who refuse to cooperate.
Practically moooooo'ing! LOL
Okay, not rare for burgers--but steaks, okay.
I like meat rare--practically MOOing. If they're so concerned about bacteria, I'm on board with irradiating it too. Make sure the health department keeps those kitchen procedures up to snuff, too. Bring me bloody red meat.
Hockey pucks? Thanks but no thanks.
