WELLINGTON, FL – A 26-year-old Wellington man charged with the November death of a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office parking enforcement worker was ordered held on $30,000 bond Tuesday.
James A. Schaffner, son of Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue District Chief James Schaffner, was also ordered by Palm Beach County Circuit Judge Krista Marx not to possess alcohol or operate a vehicle.
Schaffner, who turned himself in to the Palm Beach County Jail on Monday, is charged with vehicular homicide and DUI manslaughter in the Nov. 28 accident that killed Manuel Velasco, 62, of West Palm Beach.
Velasco worked for the Sheriff’s Office since 2004 and was assigned to Palm Beach International Airport.

I find the bond very low. Also there are no details as to what exactly happened. More information is needed on this one.
