VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — The man accused of stabbing a Clark County sheriff’s dog to death appeared in court Monday in Vancouver and was ordered held without bail.

The sheriff’s office says he stabbed the dog named Kane Saturday night while fleeing from a stolen vehicle.
