His brother in law said it right, he doesn't belong in jail or prison. He belongs in a cemetery! They cannot be rehabilitated and why wait till he harms another child? The alcohol just gave him the courage to do what he had been wanting to do!
WAIT! Here is what my eyes read,,, La Crosse County District Attorney Tim Gruenke and defense attorney Keith Belzer jointly recommended probation, citing Reagles’ remorse, willingness to accept responsibility and treatment options. Reagles also will spend six months on electronic monitoring.
His brief statement in court included apologies to the victim and his family.
“I feel terrible for everything that happened,” he said. OMG! What, are the all on Drugs???? Dat's just friggin Unbelievable. Nuff said before I really let loose.
Sorry but he needs to go to jail for what he did. Maybe he isn't your typical child molester and it did happen in a drunken stupor where he actually did not know what he was doing etc. The odds are he is at least a closet paedophile and yes he needs treatment but he should still spend a year in jail and 20yr probation with a violation of that probation such as a repeat of his molesting a child be followed with life in prison without parole. He may well violate his probation but maybe with it hanging over his head and a taste of prison he may stay on the straight and narrow.
Justice was not served in this case. There should be real prison time with probation at the other end. Alcohol should not have been allowed as an excuse for what he did to that child.
In New Jersey, we are fortunate to have a State Correctional Facility devoted exclusivly to sex offenders. The offender gets treatment, but it is in a secure enviornment. Whether the treatment takes or not, the offender is incarcerated and not a threat to anyone. Unfortunately, not all states have such a facility. I have treated many different types of offenders, and I know that psychological treatment only helps in some cases. The top priority should always be PROTECTION OF SOCIETY ! !
Bump my friend Jonas.Just another victory for the low lifed Liberal, touchy feely pukes who have been running things for way too long. The only thing this barf bagm is sorry for is he got caught. The judge needs a boot up his a-s.
