    Police officer shot in Fond du Lac

    FOND DU LAC - Breaking news from Fond du Lac where a police officer has been shot.

    Theda Clark hospital officials tell us the male officer was flown by helicopter to Theda Clark and is in critical condition.

    The city's fire chief confirms shots were fired in the city this morning on South Lincoln Avenue.

    Police officials wrapped up a news conference shortly after 11 a.m. Sunday, they said there is still no resolution. Police want the public to know the streets are safe. Police wouldn't comment during the news conference on the officer being shot.

    Many police officers, fire officials and ambulances are still on the scene.
