Lower standards result in lower quality LEOs in the long run. If you want to help a specific group pass the test process then how about offering test study groups and practice tests. When Political Correctness calls for equality for ALL it makes no sense to have two sets of hiring standards. LE must demand that only the best recruits get hired and trained to work the streets. We already have enough problems with the lesser quality candidates of all races, creeds, religions, ethnicities, etc that slip through hiring cracks, why make it worse by lowering the hiring standards?
