that's exactly what it comes down to Beowulf - the right to free speech no matter how wrong we may feel it is. Now it's our right to outnumber these groups and protect and shield the families so that they can mourn in peace and privacy.

Should not be any "high court" involved. These hero's like law enforcement hero's give the ultimate, the first one to interfere should be given an old fashioned whip---. The very ones protesting the final tributes to the hero's would not be able to do their stupid crap without the one in the casket having paid for the cost of freedom for all.

I don't agree with this, this is no different from not allowing someone to yell fire in a crowded venue, this should not be allowed, a limited intrusion for this most solemn occasion would be justified in the eyes of most Americans.

While it is the farthest thing from a welcome sight, you had to know that the probability was very high (almost insurmountable) that the court would rule in favor of the 1st Amendment. Like others have said in other threads on different topics. . . . ."While I in no way agree with what you have to say. . . .I'll defend to my death your right to say it!".
