Injured NJ Officer Thanks Her Friends, Family and Hero

PARAMUS, NJ – Are you ready for this? From her hospital bed, Paramus Police Officer Rachel Morgan sent a message to everyone praying for her recovery — and thanked her backup, Officer Ryan Hayo: “I may not have survived had u not gotten there so fast,” she wrote.

“Not much time to ©hat,” Morgan posted on the “Thoughts & Prayers for Rachel Morgan” Facebook page, “but wanted to say thank you and I mean eve®y single one of you for all you® thought[s] and prayers….[T]hey mean soooooooooooo much.

“Another huge thanks to my wond[er]ful family, friends, and all off [the Paramus police officers] who [have] been loyally glued to my side sin©e [S]unday.

“And a special Thank you to my back up officer Ryan [H]ayo. I may not have survived had u not gotten so there so fast. I luv u kiddo. You[‘re] my hero. xoxo.

The page in no time attracted nearly 9,000 followers, many of whom sent their love and prayers. And although there are plenty of locals, support has come in from police officers and everyday citizens across the nation and around the world.
