Let's see...the city lays off a large number of cops, eliminates special enforcement units, and the Governor openly declares war on public employees by attacking their salaries and pension. Is it no wonder there's been a decrease not only in the city but across the state? Layoffs are happening all over the state as well. This is just one place, but if you look elsewhere, you'll find the overall numbers down. THe atmosphere for LEOs in NJ is very bad and across the state the morale of the state's officers is down.
