Well Im glad he was caught for some thing like that, and he wasn't on the force long. Cops like this get out of control leading to bigger or more brazen dishonest acts. I hope he gets an actual sentence and he gets a cell mate who dislikes cops.
At least he is now off the streets!!!
Wow!!, it takes all kinds. I'm not even surprised anymore.
This moron was only a rookie which means it didn't take long for his true character to reveal itself. he obviously fell thru the cracks of a background check. Heads are gonna roll in HR.
You have good and bad in every profession, it's great that they caught him it's more of them ( bad cops) out there his not the first and will not be the last.
Identified by the victims, confession by the "former" officer, just need the formaility of a trial and a good long prison sentence. What a POS and disgrace to the badge he formerly wore...
He thought he could get away with it by targeting what he thought were "illegals". They are not gonna go to the police. WRONG.
What a POS criminal with a badge!
Hmmmm - makes ya wonder how many times he's done that before and got away with it. I really hate these idiots making everyone else who bust thier asses look bad - cause we know all the public sees is LE. They RARELY ever report the good that LE does.
He never was an "officer." Just someone stupid.
This has to be the epitome of stupidity.I can't see why any more information is needed???I hope everybody read the arrogant statement he gave in his admission, just as though it was a regular day at the office for him because he had a badge and gun. Thanks dork brain for doing this to we honest officers.
A resignation doesn't look good.
Wow! I agree we need more info. What an idiot though. Sounds like Memphis may want to tighten its hiring process.
This story sucks for a lot of reasons
The article is not very in depth... I agree with HEYSARGE, let it play out, and see where the rest of the info leads us. I am glad to know that he is no longer a cop. But I would like a little more info...
