Sounds like standard procedure for officer-involved shootings. Hopefully the others are cleared and go back to work without nightmares.
They may be under investigation, but it is for doing their job and going home at the end of their shift. The chief is right, this day and age the public is not afraid to assault and or kill us. We are trained to take actions necessary to ensure the safety of the public and officers. We have to understand that this is part of the job that is becoming necessary for more officers to face due to the actions of the public. I pray that all these officers will be cleared and returned to full duty quickly.
