Agreed Rhood. I'd like a raise like that...
Why am I not suprised about this? I'm behind the fight that we don't get paid enough, even though the public has some warped view that all we do is "drive around, drinking coffee and eating donuts". That is until the public needs us and expects us to do anything but wipe the jelly from our chins and magically make their lives perfect. But $20000 raise for the top brass, while the "workhorses" lower ranked officers are fighting for funding to keep their jobs and to find the funds do it properly equipped without losing their jobs. Gesh!
That is a sizable chunk of change.
