florida chief arrested for derailing rape of minor case to help friend

If this is accurate, he's f___ed, This is a serious investigation that his Department was conducting and if he thought his Department was not up to the task of conducting a thorough investigation he should have asked another jurisdiction to conduct the investigation, so as not to be partial to his so called friend. If any of the officers took him up on this alleged cover up they too will be looking at criminal charges and a new place of abode.

If he did this he deserves more than 15 years and the officers that helped him and failed to report this also need to be delt wwith harshly. Forget the personal gain, integrity above all! Personal gains do not last, once integrity is gone.........IT IS GONE FOREVER!!
