PUEBLO, CO – The author of a guide for pedophiles was arrested today in Colorado for allegedly violating Florida obscenity laws by sending a signed copy of the book to undercover detectives, the Winter Haven News Chief report.

Phillip R. Greaves II wrote the 2010 book The Pedophile’s Guide to Love and Pleasure: a Child-Lover’s Code of Conduct.

The self-published book offers advice to pedophiles on how to make sexual encounters with children as safe as possible. It was briefly for sale on Amazon before being removed by the website, the Associated Press reports.

The 47-year-old Greaves was arrested at his Pueblo, Colo., home on a Florida warrant charging him with distribution of obscene material depicting minors engaged in conduct harmful to minors, a third-degree felony.

The Polk Sheriff’s Office alleged that Greaves sent a signed copy of the book to undercover officers.

Great work Sheriff, Of course there will be a blood sucking lawyer there to defend his "rights" But if somebody read his book and decided to act on his child then it would be LEO's getting sued for not taking action. I hope that he takes some of his autographed books into general population..... Have a nice life, loser

Kudos to Sheriff Grady Judd and the Polk County ( Fl. ) Sheriffs Department for their agressive approach over this. Shame on Amazon for letting this book be listed for even one minute !! Hanging would be too good for this POS. Like grant319 said, let him spend his time in general population.

Congrats to the LEOs and DA for bringing this disturbed individual to justice. Now, if there were a way to follow the paper trail of people that bought the books...we could get more of these wack jobs of the streets! All within legal procedures, of course. Could one use the PATRIOT act to take down NAMBLA?

CONGRATS to the Sheriff, DA, and all others involved for having the testicular fortitude to make this happen! no doubt its going to be a long, drawn out process with their so called freedom of speech, and yes, its going to cost a lot of money, but putting this idiot away and possibly saving even one child is well worth it. he belongs in general population with his new cell mate Bubba.
