East Orange man found not guilty of murdering Hudson County Corrections Officers in Jersey City

Shaking my head here. Maybe it's Me, or does this story make absolutely no sense? Jersey City is in Close Vicinity of Newark and closer to my town Kearny. JC(as we call it) is current laying off 82 LEO's. (Great) But back to the Story, this guy currently being charged with drug possession, was well enough to get to his car and shoot two people instead of escaping. Then he eluded police by hiding for a month, and a jury finds him innocent, WOW Sip Avenue is one of the Main strips in JC close to the Rails and Buses to NYC. Some stores in JC, stay open til the we hours of the morning, but of course No witness's. Something very strange is behind this, and I hope it doesn't send a message for the gun toting Gang-Banging in the Neighboring Newark, that they may also be possible to get away with somethng similiar to this. Not to get off the Topic, but since the layoffs on in Newark on December 1st, there has been at least 6-7 shooting, Carjackings, Assualts, one car has been harrassing people at a bus stop, they are armed with Shotties. along with that Newark has had a few homicides hours apart. One 27 year old got shot, while she was shopping for groceries last night in an attempted robbery at a Stop and Save. (Smdh) It's getting Ugly Ret, I made an excuse last Sunday so I wouldn't have to drop off one of my Staff Members In Newark, I felt bad, but I can't keep driving to dangerous places. For one, I have a nice car. and 2 his street (18th av)divides the Crips and the bloods Territory. This is such Nonsense. What can Be Done?
