Specialized Task Force Takes Down MD Meth Lab

FALLSTON, MD – Shortly before daybreak, on Saturday, October 16, 2010, members of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team and the Harford County Task Force discovered an active meth lab in the 2000 block of Durham Road in Fallston, MD while making entry on a search and seizure warrant s secured in conjunction with an ongoing narcotics investigation.
At approximately 4:30 am, deputies made entry into the residence located in Fallston without incident.
Once inside, they discovered a cache of weapons, several thousands of dollars worth of Methamphetamine, and an active lab in the bedroom closet of the home. Weapons seized include several handguns, assault rifles, homemade silencers and a grenade launcher.
Local emergency service personnel assisting at the scene included Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company, Whiteford Volunteer Fire Company, the Harford County Hazardous Materials Response Team (HAZMAT), and ATF.
Three individuals have been arrested and charged. The investigation is ongoing and being conducted by the Harford County Task Force.
The Harford County Task Force formed in 1988 consists of Harford County Sheriff ‘s Office, Maryland State Police, Harford County State’s Attorney’s Office, Aberdeen Police Department, and Havre de Grace Police Department focuses on the larger and more complex narcotic and vice investigations that take place throughout the County.
This task force conducts criminal investigations, targeting high-level drug traffickers, importers, and money laundering organizations.

It's a real comfort to know that the authorities are putting efforts to do their job. Now we're talking about one more meth lab down, another danger stopped. Statistics say that meth is a devastating drug with serious effects on entire communities. A close friend got caught in this drug hell but now he found hope again in a drug rehab Missouri, he's a lucky guy, things could have been a lot worse.

Agreed, great work po po's but why are these deadbeats out of jail and why was bail even an option? Why do police do their job and the Harford County prosecutors and judges fail.
