October 06, 2010
SHEFFIELD – A body found by Vermont bird hunters has been identified as a 78-year-old Vermont grandmother reported missing Sept. 11. Police say she was murdered.
By Vermont State Police/AP
O’Hagan was active in her town of 700, including being president of the Sheffield Historical Society. She was also an avid kayaker and solo camper.
“We’re just all very sad,” said Greg Bryant, who worked with her at the local food pantry. “There’s a huge hole in the community. It’s a small community, and she was a big part of it.”

If she was a avid kayaker she must have been in good shape for her age. I hope she put up one hell of a fight. Hope they get the person who did this to her.

I hope that justice will be served for this woman, she did not deserve to go this way. Max penalities for those that did this.
