Two Troopers, Dispatcher Killed in Fire
Associated Press
August 16, 2010
ZILLAH, Wash. — Three employees of the Washington State Patrol have been killed in a house fire near Zillah in Yakima County.
WSP Sgt. Tom Foster confirms the three as Trooper Christopher Sperry, Trooper Gary Miller, and Anne Miller-Hewitt.
Another patrol spokesman told the Yakima Herald-Republic that 54-year-old Miller-Hewitt is a communications manager for the State Patrol’s Wenatchee office, married to 54-year-old Miller. They lived at the residence.
Yakima County Fire District 5 says the fire was reported at 1 a.m. Monday.
Yakima County Coroner Jack Hawkins told the Herald-Republic the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is investigating.

I read the local story and this Trooper was married to the Dispatcher and they were allowing the other Trooper to stay with them until he was settled in. They have done this in the past as well so it shows the great heart that they had towards their Brother LEO's. God keep them.

Oh my God. What a terrible tragedy WSP has suffered. Prayers go out to the Troopers and the Dispatchers families and many friends. The article doesn't say very much and I would love to know more of what happened etc. A very sad day.
