Having formerly worked in the Vallley of the Sun, I send my thoughts and prayers to the rest of the Phoenix Officers. But especially for his wife and the children who will never get to know their father. RIP.

I was born and raised in the Phoenix metropolitan area. To see that this is what has become of the place that I grew up is sad. My condolences go out to the departments and the families of these heroes without whom there would only be chaos.

I lived in this area for 15 years. Know many of the officers that on the Phoenix & Glendale PD's. Did most of my rides with these two departments and I grieve with them for this officer. It is my prayer that they have a judge that respects the life of the officer. That there bee a speedy trial and an even speedier verdict. Hope the POG rots in his cell forever. Rest in Peace Officer Murphy. Father please watch overthe family, friends and department as they go thru this time of grief. They will be in my heart forever.
