Officer Killed In Motorcycle Accident During Traffic Stop

ABILENE, TX – Officer Rodney Holder was killed in a motorcycle accident at the intersection of Sayles Boulevard and South 13th Street while attempting to stop a speeder.
Another vehicle collided with his motorcycle in the intersection as he attempted to the stop the speeder on Sayles Boulevard.
Officer Holder is survived by his wife, daughter, and son.

Officer Holder graduated from Cooper (Cougars) High School on Abilene, Texas in 1982. He joined the Abilene Police Department that year. as he had always wanted to be in law enforcement. May God bless and keep him and his family. He was doing what he loved.
