NAPLES, Fla. (AP) – A Collier County deputy was reprimanded after shocking a colleague with a Taser in an incident meant to be a joke. The December scene was caught on tape at the Collier County jail. A female deputy was seen showing a message on her iPod to Cpl. Wilmer A. Arencibia, who followed the woman and shocked her on the behind with his Taser.
Arencibia told investigators it was “a spur of the moment thing” and acknowledged the behavior was improper.
He was given a reprimand and final warning after an internal investigation.

O k , so...what was the message on the iphone? Was it the new itase app? And don't they know the first rule of Taser Fight Club is not to talk about Taser Fight Club, much less film it...?
To the perp with the weapon: I've witnessed an instance where crack had previously been smoked out of a pen. Don't give anyone a reason to use a crack pipe if you can help it. Just say no to drugs, like endorphins and adrenaline. Would this even be in the news if a guy got shocked in the counterparts?

No disrespect to any of my brotherin LEOS,But if this was anyone else other than an officer yall would have said it was improper and unethical.Just because we carry a badge doesnt justify that type of behavior,and hes very lucky to even still have his job for this incident.Perhaps it was just a joke but a weapon isnt used for joking matters,lord forbid that she had any health problems and the Deputy just so happen to have tased her,then she lost her life due to some health problem, he then would have had some other serious problems to deal with.You get my point,that was uncalled for and I think he got what was necessary a reprimand and a final warning.It wouldnt have been tolerated in any other career and it shouldnt start with this one either.

Another pointless story that makes front page. BTW PoliceLink.com there was a funeral procession today for a SWAT LAPD Officer/USMC SGTMAJ. Instead posting that. you guys post an article and video of a deputy tasing a co-worker.
