SALT LAKE CITY – Police said a teenager who botched a robbery at a Salt Lake City convenience store asked the clerk not to tell his mom.
Salt Lake City police said the teen went into the store early Saturday morning and approached the counter with several items. As the clerk rung them up, the teen tried to sneak behind him and hold a knife to his neck. The clerk spun around with his hands up and smacked the teen in the face, knocking him to the floor.
The teen then asked the clerk not to call the police and then added “Don’t tell my mom” before he fled.

LOL! What a fail! Teen tough guy tries holding a knife to another person's neck, then gets knocked over and begs for the clerk not to call his mom or the police.
I hope that attempt knocked some reality into his head.

I would have paid to see this event pan out...... What an IDIOT. I wonder if he is stupid enough to go back into the same store in the upcoming next few days. The clerk should have grabbed him (if possible) before he had the chance to run....... then we could hear him crying as his mom is called while he is on the way to juvenile hall for Armed Stupidity, errrrrr Robbery.

well hopefully this experience will teach him he is not as bright as he thought, and that crime doesn't pay.

HAHA. Please don't tell my mommy! She already thinks I'm worthless and a screw up, but she'll really let me have it if she finds out that I can't even pull off a simple convience store robbery! :-)

Why "heck no...I won't tell your Mom. The Police will probably want to tell her though.
I don't think one slap is enough, if he comes back slap him some more while yelling "bad Hijacker" over and over until it sinks in that this is wrong.
