A Michigan officer narrowly escaped an oncoming car while investigating a crash on a busy interstate.

Officer Brian Kashyk was taking information from one of the drivers involved in a crash when he noticed an oncoming car that had lost control in the snow was sliding towards him.

Police said Kashyk originally tried to run from the car, but at the last second jump straight up in the air to avoid being pinned.

Glad to see the officer is ok! nozlnut, that has nothing to do with this and it is really inappropriate to say something like that on an article about an officer getting injured!

We are never safe out there playing in Traffic. I am thankful that he was alert and that he will be OK. What is up with Drivers out there? Traveling too fast for conditions again, or was their head inserted somewhere?
