My unit was called up that day to provide bridge security with the Port Authority PD. I shall NEVER forget this day. I still have nightmares...:(
If I say anymore of how I feel or what I would personally do to those who did this to us, I may have to turn in my shield!

I think it would take tremendous composure and presence of mind to be a helicopter pilot flying around a scene such as this. And the Detective who took the photos had to be very level headed and focused as well. These images wrench my heart but I am thankful for them because they impact our souls in a way the printed words can't capture.

I walked ground zero before my first deployment...I will be going over again in May and plan to walk that area again just before I go. I have the flags to the fallen civilians and LE/FD and left my original flag to the fallen civilians with my comrades in the sandbox when I left. I WILL NEVER FORGET!!!!!!

AS I GOT INTO WORK, EVERONE WAS NUMB WITH GRIEF, I DEALT WITH ALLOT OF EMPLOYEES THAT DAY THAT HAD REALITIVES IN NY, I SENT FOLKS HOME, I CALLED FAMILY FOR THEM, I SAT AND JUST HELD OTHERS. SUCH A HORRIFIC DAY!
I HANG MY HEAD IN PRAYER TO TODAY AS I AGAIN AM REMINDED OF THE PRICE THAT WAS PAID ON 9-11.
I WALK AWAY WITH A SENSE OF PRIDE OF AMERICA'S BROTHERHOOD.

The direction this country is headed should strike fear in the heart of every Christian. Especially knowing that the Muslim religion believes that if Christians cannot be converted they should be annihilated

It pains my heart everytime I see video and pictures of this tragic event in our lives, the loss of lives of the innocent and of the brave men and women of the PD and FD who rushed in to save those that they could and gave their all. America must remember that the threat is still real and it is not a matter of if, but when.

Like so many, I watched the events of that day unfold on the TV. It was supposed to be and started out to be a day like any other day as I was getting ready for work. The news showed the flames from the first tower when all of a sudden a second plane enters into the view of the camera and strikes the second tower. I could not believe what I had just seen. It took a few seconds to comprehend and process that I did in fact see Hell unleashed. I remember screaming at my own radio as I drove to work listening and wondering if the horror would ever end. I had seen the second of two planes, then heard about the third and fourth. I thought about all of the innocent people in those planes and those in the towers and at the Pentagon. All they had done that morning was get up and go to work....... THEY HAD DONE NOTHING TO DESERVE WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO THEM!!!!!! I watched on the TV at my work as the first tower and then the second tower came down. All I could do for the majority of that day as well as subsequent days was pray. From the west coast, I wished that I could have been there rushing in along side of my brothers in blue. All that lost their lives that day from the NYPD, PAPD and NYFD are in fact heroes. Frank and all of the others who likewise responded to this incident and by the grace of God survived to tell their stories are also in fact heroes. These pictures, as horrific as they are, as they stir up those worst memories of that day, need to be seen by everyone. Let no man or woman ever be aloud to forget the terrible events of 9-11. Let all who have come into the world since that day know, that these events did occur, that they were perpetrated by evil cowards against innocent people. Let us always remember that our freedom was not granted to us for free. All gave some..... Some gave all. I go now, having something in my eyes.

NEVER FORGET!!!!!! Some may have
Subject: Obama canceled National Day of Prayer
JUST ONE OF MANY REASONS TO BE RID OF OBAMA.....
In 1952 President Truman established one day a year as a
National Day of Prayer.
In 1988, President Reagan designated the first Thursday in May of each year as the National Day of Prayer.
In June 2007, (then) Presidential candidate Barack Obama declared that the USA was no longer a Christian nation.
This year President Obama, canceled the 21st annual National Day of Prayer ceremony at the White House under the rouse of "not wanting to offend anyone"
On September 25, 2009 from 4 am until 7 pm, a National Day of Prayer for the Muslim religion was held on Capitol Hill, beside the White House. There were over 50,000 Muslims that day in DC.
I guess it doesn't matter if "Christians" are offended by this event -
we obviously don't count as "anyone" anymore.
The direction this country is headed should strike fear in the heart of every Christian. Especially knowing that the Muslim religion believes that if Christians cannot be converted they should be annihilated

Please pass this on, maybe someone, somehow can figure out a way to put America back on the map as it was when we were growing up, a safe place to live and by the Ten Commandments and Pledge of Allegiance, etc!
