CONCORD, NH – A Concord, N.H., woman was accused of driving drunk and causing three crashes in a single week. State police said a 55-year-old woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after a crash in Londonderry Jan. 16. She was released on bail, then charged with DWI again five days later in Concord when she crashed into a guardrail on Interstate 93.
Her third arrest came Friday evening, when she was accused of driving without her lights on Interstate 93 in Concord, rear-ending a pickup truck and pushing it into another car. No one was injured.
The woman was being held on $20,000 cash bail.

She needs to be bound over to alcohol rehab, for crying out loud man!!!!! There would NOT have been a third violation if somebody was looking out for the "well-being" of the streets. And I read this article and then saw the bail amount and damn near flipped.

yes she is lucky but 3 times.... she will do it until she kills someone, the bail should be none howmuch more does it take to show a judge that due to the crimes and the evidence of them she is a severe danger to the public.

Two things come to mind right off the bat: 1) She's got a real problem with alcohol; 2) Forget bail; she needs to dry out and not just sober up. For the safety of the public, she can't be allowed access to alcohol and another vehicle !!!!

Boy am I embarrassed to be from this state!! How many times does someone need to be pulled over for a DUI before they realize she needs to be in rehab!? Once is bad enough twice in ONE week there's obviously some drinking issues...... THREE times WTH? Does someone need to die before they say "Oh hey I think you have a problem!!" and who keeps giving her a vehicle after one DUI your license gets suspended!

MarlyB makes a good point. It's no longer a case of making bail. This person is an obvious danger. There should be some provision for keeping her off of the street.

Regardless of whether or not bail terms can be met, this very ill woman is a danger to herself and others should remain in custody and evaluated by mental health professionals before she is released.

One situation where I wuold actually condone sueing. Only because it may change something. Make judges accountable for their actions.

You are so right Paul! And you got to wonder why our legal system is so screwed up. If she would of killed someone, can't blame the victim or victims' families for suing the state. I want to beat all the sense I can put into her. It only takes a minute to call a cab or a friend to pick you up.

I swear someone needs to beat some sense into this POS oxygen thief. Unfortunately, she won't learn her lesson until someone gets killed by her. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!
