Roads Closed For Arlington Officer's Funeral

A memorial service will be today for an Arlington police officer killed last week in the line of duty, and motorists passing through town between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. should be prepared for traffic delays.

Craig Story, 34, was killed Wednesday while trying to pull over a speeding motorist on South Cooper Street. His motorcycle struck a school bus at Lynda Lane and burst into flames.

The service will be at 11 a.m. at Crossroads Christian Church, 6450 S. Texas 360 in Grand Prairie. Afterward the funeral procession will make its way to Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis Drive in Arlington.
