WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah -A Utah driver rammed a sheriff’s patrol car on purpose and officers aren’t even upset. West Valley City police say a man posted an ad asking for a massage.

When he showed up at the appointed meeting place, instead of finding a woman police said a 21-year-old man hopped into the truck, flashed a gun and told the victim to drive.

Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Lt. Jason Johnson said the driver tried to stay calm but saw an opportunity to escape when he pulled up next to a sheriff’s deputy.

Johnson said the man hit the patrol car, jumped out of the truck and started yelling. Officers quickly arrested the gunman.

Johnson said a little damage to a vehicle that can be repaired is better than anyone getting hurt.

Ok, they talk about a Sheriff's Patrol unit getting struck, but have statements from the West Valley City police and then "officers" quickly arresting the gunman instead of "deputies". Furthermore, is that the actual police car? If it is, wow... ("a little damage") If it isn't, why in the world did they use a "stock" photo. This news paper should atleast require a GED to get hired...

I don't know who wrote this newspaper article but they really should go back to their English Composition 101 class. The newspaper should be embarrassed for this article to appear in their paper.

so much irony here - that guy will never post another massage ad and the criminal won't try to fool a guy looking for a "massage"

Sorry, but this is all just too STUPID. You don't post an ad for a massage, you go to a masseuse. This idiot put himself in this situation and then put a Deputy in danger. No praise for this guy. He is an idiot and should spend a little "thinking time" in jail. Glad no officers were injured in this guy's poor attempt to get a "massage."

PROSTITUTION SHOULD BE DECRIMINALIZED AND TAXED, AND THESE TYPES OF SITUATIONS WOULD NOT OCCUR. TAKE A LOOK AT THE BUNNY RANCH ON HBO AND YOU LL SEE A BUSINESS THATS RUN VERY WELL WITH VERY LITTLE PROBLEMS !
